Can we be confident in the quality and quantity of the fuel we consume in Colombia?
Have you ever wondered if the fuel you buy at a gas station
The resilience of a fundamental sector for Colombia: liquid fuels
The liquid fuels sector in Colombia and all the agents that make up the chain know the word resilience very well. They have faced enormous and unimaginable challenges such as the Covid-19 pandemic, impacts from road infrastructure problems, national strikes, among others, without stopping for a second their effort to ensure the supply of fuels to all corners of the country.
Liquid fuels, a sector in growth and transformation
The greater economic dynamism, the return to in-person activities in cities, the preference for private vehicles after the pandemic, the increased traffic congestion
Liquid fuels, a sector driving the Colombian economy
Annually in Colombia, around 130 million tons of cargo are transported by land; 47 million passengers are transported by plane; and 96% of the nearly 6.9 million vehicles and 10.9 million motorcycles that make up the automotive fleet are powered by gasoline and ACPM. These are not small figures; it is the entire national economy mobilized thanks to the continuous and responsible work of the agents in the liquid fuel distribution chain.
